October 30, 2020

MUNICH, GERMANY (October 21, 2020) – Startup Creasphere kicks off the fifth batch of its healthcare innovation program where 11 startups will collaborate with their corporate partners and their projects teams on 11 jointly developed pilot projects.

“We are looking forward to working with these inspiring startups and dedicated pilot owner teams from our partners. As we are just kicking off the new program, the best is yet to come,” says Frederike Rohr, Director of Plug and Play and Startup Creasphere in Munich.

Established in 2018 by Roche Diagnostics and Plug and Play, Startup Creasphere is the first healthcare-focused innovation platform in Munich. Startup Creasphere creates an environment within the global network of Plug and Play where corporations and startups learn and share experiences and facilitate international expansion with the aim of transforming healthcare together. Since inception, Startup Creasphere accelerated over 60 startups and facilitated over 30 pilot projects in various areas like Digital Biomarkers, Clinical Decision Support, Remote Testing, Pain, Sleep, and Nutrition. The startups receive the opportunity to work with the corporate partners on the Startup Creapshere platform, which are Roche Diagnostics, Sanofi, Lonza, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Microsoft, and Accenture.

During the program, batch startups will focus on the most relevant topics in the field of Advanced Data Analytics, Disease Management, Lab of the Future, Manufacturing New Drug Modalities, and other topics with a direct impact for the patient journey.
